Advocacy

WADSA Advocacy includes people who believe that adult day care and adult day health care are community resources essential to caring for frail adults, over age 18, who live with disabling and chronic illness.

Everyone who supports adult day services is invited and encouraged to express that support by joining WADSA Advocacy.  By signing up for WADSA Advocacy, you will:

•    Receive up-to-date funding and regulation information about adult day services – that impacts you and your family,
•    Learn who your legislators are and how to easily contact them,
•    Receive suggested language you can use when communicating with your legislators and day center regulators,
•    Keep abreast of pending and passed legislation that could impact home & community care

Finally, it is important that you know, WADSA does not lend, sell or otherwise provide mailing lists to anyone.
