2010 Round Table Series
Multi-disciplinary & In-depth Conversation with Colleagues
A multi-disciplinary and in-depth discussion
about research related to aging. These discussions will be based
on a professional journal article that participants will receive
in advance of the discussion. Round Table discussion groups meet
the Third Thursday of each month, beginning September 17,
8:30-10am at the Wallingford Community Senior Center. Barbara
Green, MSW facilitates the discussion.

Round Table Summary:
This group is an opportunity to reach beyond your agency for an
interactive and meaningful dialogue. Learning from others and
helping to develop a community of professionals in the field of
aging will add a new dimension to your practice.
Participants will receive articles to read prior to each
hour-and-a-half ROUND TABLE which will provide the framework for
the group discussion. The goals for these sessions are
- To stimulate you to consider your
practice in new ways
- To keep current wit the latest
professional literature and
- To create links between current
literature and clinical practice
Cost: $25.00/session payable on
attendance; $110/5 sessions, including materials
CEUs:
This program is approved for 1.5 CEUs by the NASW Washington
State Chapter. Licensed Social Workers, Marriage and Family
Therapists and Mental Health Counselors are eligible. Provider
number is #1975-256. Approved for 1.5 CEUs for "person" credits
from the Professional Guardian Certification Board
